Two days after I exposed the deplorable condition of the
Wajir Hospital and the challenges facing health-care delivery in the county in our
‘Welcome to the sick hospital of wajir’ story, the county government of wajir
has advertised for the procurement of 4 Ambulances in a tender advert appearing
in today’s standard: ‘’Tender for the procurement of fully equipped Ambulances
for Wajir County’’ page 32.
Tender number WCG/T/92/2013-2014 is to be received on or
before Thursday, 6th February 2014 at 11.00am and to be opened
thereafter at the Wajir County Conference Room.
